IU South Bend said farewell to its largest graduating class in history (1,236 degree recipients), IU Kokomo had a sunny day for its traditional outdoor ceremony. The confetti on all the campuses has been swept away, the academic attire folded and stored for another day. Yet, the celebration revolving around IU's eight-campus commencement week is still reverberating with stories and pictures. And good news, Class of 2006, the National Association of Colleges and Employees has projected a healthy escalation in college grad hires, which will sustain through the autumn months.

Basketball camps for youngsters run by IU Bloomington's new men's basketball coach Kelvin Sampson and by IUPUI Jaguars head men's coach Ron Hunter are just the tip of the ball in terms of the array of
athletic camp experiences available to boys and girls.
New campus regulations will have IU East smoke free and IUPUI tobacco free, effective in August. The Indianapolis campus will become one of the first large urban campuses in the U.S. to ban the use and sale of all tobacco products.
