IUHPFL in the News
Throughout each year, the IUHPFL appears in Indiana newspapers, newsletters and online. In most countries, IUHPFL students also land in foreign news — print and online.
The IUHPFL would like to know if the Program is mentioned in the newspaper or online, in the U.S. or abroad. Any news articles or source information can be forwarded to the IUHPFL office to iuhpfl@indiana.edu.
The IUHPFL returns to Mérida, Mexico

After consultation with Indiana University officials, the IUHPFL has decided to return to Mérida, Mexico, for the summer of 2012. Because of violence in the State of San Luis Potosí, the IUHPFL relocated its San Luis Potosí site to Mérida in 2011.
Best Part of my Summer in Spain: The People

I am able to say I had the best summer a 16-year-old could dream of. First off — and I don’t care what any of my classmates say — I had the best host parents in the program.
IU Honors Program sent 241 students to France, Spain, Germany and Mexico

Excitement ran high this summer when 241 students from Indiana high schools traveled to France, Germany, Mexico and Spain to immerse themselves in the language and culture of a new country.

Record Number of Indiana High School Students Spent Unforgettable Summer Abroad
Bloomington, IN — In early June, a record 261 Indiana high school students traveled to France, Germany, Mexico and Spain as part of the IUHPFL study abroad Program.
20 students selected as Wells Scholars at Indiana University
Three IUHPFL alumni were nominated as Wells Scholars. Christy Chang, Halle Hill and Bridget Kelly who participated in the IUHPFL in 2011 and 2012 have been selected for the prestigious award.
