AT&T Your World Delivered

  • 8% discount on student plans
  • 12% discount on faculty and staff plans

IU has an agreement with AT&T Wireless to provide personal cellular services to students, faculty, and staff at discounted rates.

With a monthly rate plan, students, staff, and faculty have access to abbreviated dialing codes to reach local campus police and UITS Support Center/Help Desk. There are no air time charges associated with these calls unless you are roaming or calling long distance from areas where AT&T does not provide direct coverage.

To set up a new cellular service plan, and take full advantage of all the available discounts, click on the Student or Faculty and Staff online ordering link on the left panel of this page.

By ordering online, you are eligible for:

  • Lowest available pricing on devices
  • $25 discount on your online order

Although 8% and 12% service discounts are available if you order online or through an AT&T retail store, lowest available pricing on devices and $25 discount on online orders are NOT available if you order at a store.

IU students, faculty, and staff who are existing customers of AT&T can move their existing contracts to the IU program.

For more details and specific information, see Frequently Asked Questions and Detailed Information.

Beginning July 11, 2008, the new iPhone 3G is eligible for the monthly service discounts. Students, faculty and staff can purchase the new iPhone 3G starting at only $199 with new voice and data service plans. The iPhone 3G is not eligible for device or accessory discounts and is ONLY available at an AT&T retail location with FAN #96047 for students and FAN #96046 for faculty and staff. For an AT&T retail location carrying iPhone 3G, visit http://www.att.com/find-a-store/

NOTE: The original iPhone (June 2007) will continue to be ineligible for monthly service, device and accessory discounts. This is the only device that this restriction applies to: all other AT&T devices and services accompanying those devices are eligible.
