Business Intelligence Task Force
A Business Intelligence Task Force (BITF) was formed in early 2009 to address the objectives outlined in action items 30 & 31 of the Strategic Plan for Information Technology, Empowering People.
The BITF meets monthly. It is responsible for setting the direction for the BI initiative and will establish the standards and strategies we will use as a framework for moving forward including:
- Project Prioritization and Selection
- Requirements Gathering
- Metadata
- Data Quality, Testing & Security
- Training, Education & Communication
- Resource Management
- Technology Selection

BITF Working Groups
Working Groups have been created to address the various projects and efforts being undertaken. These subgroups have a mix of BITF members along with other IU staff.
