Vol. 15, No. 1
InULA Booksale '99: preliminary reportThe InULA booksale, held on Sunday, April 18 and Monday, April 19, was very successful: we made a total of $5,783.25. Many books were donated and had to be sorted by broad subject categories. A number of volunteers came to help with the sorting on Saturdays in March and early April. Volunteers also helped with setting up the sale on Friday and Saturday before the sale, working during the sale, and the clean-up afterwards. Booksale volunteers The sale began at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday with about 20 booksellers from around the state and several students lined up ready to get in. Most of the money we made came early in the sale on Sunday, but we were busy throughout the entire sale. Many customers returned to buy books for $2.00 a bag towards the end of the sale. We thank everyone for their help in making this year's sale a big success.
