2005/2006 Program and Social Committee
Annual report
This committee shall organize at least one program of interest to the members. It may also organize a fund-raising event to support the InULA Research Incentive Fund.

Our budget was $1600.
The InULA Program and Social Committee planned for the annual holiday luncheon at the Tudor Room. The meeting was scheduled in the Coronation Room in the Tudor Room in the Student Union on the Bloomington Campus for December 16th from 11:30 to 1:30. The theme of the luncheon was "Have Book, Will Travel". For the program we invited two librarians to talk about their travels for collections related trips and to share their photos and experiences. Speakers were Andrea Singer and Wen Ling Liu. Door prizes were given out.
We co-sponsored one program with Continuing Education on February 24 with Bob Goehlert giving a presentation about his work as Fulbright scholar in Croatia last year. Program was attended by approximately 40 individuals. We provided the pizza.
We have a program initially planned for late summer/early fall and will work with next year’s committee to follow through.
Spring Business Meeting: We arranged for this meeting to be held via polycom to encourage all members to come. Theme of the refreshments was “picnic with InULA Business”.
