The IU Auditorium is within walking distance of all residence halls. Families are encouraged to leave vehicles at the residence halls during the ceremony.
Auditorium Directions
The Indiana University Auditorium is located in the heart of the Bloomington campus. See map. If you use a GPS, we recommend entering this address:

It is within walking distance of all residence halls.
The picnic after the ceremony is on the grounds of nearby Woodburn Hall. You’ll see Woodburn Hall to the southwest of Showalter Fountain as you exit the Auditorium.
Parking
Parking is extremely limited near the Auditorium. Vehicles should be left at students’ residences, and freshmen and their families are urged to walk to the Auditorium. Some parking is available at the Jordan Avenue Garage, east of the Auditorium on Jordan Avenue between Third and Seventh Streets, and the Indiana Memorial Union, west on Seventh Street from the Auditorium.
Accessibility Parking
A limited number of parking spaces are available directly in front of the Auditorium around Showalter Fountain. These spaces are reserved for vehicles displaying state-issued permits. Cadets will be on duty the day of the ceremony to assist wtih parking.
