Pan Asia Institute Exchange Opportunities

The Pan Asia Institute is happy to announce openings for both faculty and graduate student research exchanges between Indiana University and the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. The institute offers support for one- to six-week exchanges focusing on Asian and Pan-Asian studies, including round-trip economy class airfare to Canberra, study and research privileges at ANU, and a stipend for lodging and living expenses while working at ANU.
Applications for both faculty and graduate student exchanges between February 1, 2017 and May 31, 2017 must be submitted via email to panasia@iu.edu by November 18, 2016. Notification of awards will be made by December 16, 2016. The application requirements for the two types of exchanges are as follows:

Faculty Exchanges
Please submit the following as a single PDF file to panasia@iu.edu:
• Completed application cover sheet
• A brief statement of purpose (four page maximum) detailing the reasons for the exchange and the individuals or units at ANU with which the applicant will be working
• A short (three page maximum) curriculum vitae

Graduate Student Exchanges
Please submit the following as a single PDF file to panasia@iu.edu:
• Completed application cover sheet
• A brief statement of purpose (four page maximum) detailing the reasons for the exchange and the individuals and units at ANU with which the applicant will be working
• A curriculum vitae
• An unofficial copy of your IU transcript
• One letter of recommendation (may be included in PDF or mailed directly to panasia@iu.edu)
