Please join the Finnish program in the Department of Central Eurasian Studies for Emma Lappi's talk about Finland's economy.

Emma Lappiis a Finnish economist working at Jönköping international Business School and Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum. Lappi’s upcoming dissertation discusses the human capital accumulation through labor mobility of the previously self-employed. Her research interests include the entry and exit dynamics of firms and entrepreneurship. She is also working on projects that focus on competition across EU and OECD countries covering topics such as the role of formal and informal institutions to entrepreneurship and competition. In fall 2017 Ms. Lappi is a visiting PhD student at SPEA.
