In the horror of 1944 Auschwitz, a Hungarian member of the Sonderkommando finds
moral survival upon trying to salvage from the flames the body of a boy he takes for
his son. A film by László Nemes, duration 107 minutes.
The screening is in Hungarian with English subtitles, followed by Q&A with lead actor Géza Röhrig
The event is sponsored by the Hungarian Cultural Association of IU, Inner Asian and
