I examine the socio-economic and political impact Christianity had on late antique/early medieval society in southwest Europe, especially in Iberia and southern Gaul. I am also interested in the rural populations of Imperial Spain, their relationship with Roman authority and their socio-economic community. My research has brought me to the study of architecture and physical space and how these elements work within social constructs. |
