The Grad Pad (IMU M088)
NOTICE: The Grad Pad space in IMU M088 closed as of July 1st, 2009. The cost of maintaining the space was more than $13,000 per year, and our organization is no longer able to afford that within our current budget. We have been pursuing 2 new spaces, one in the Wells Library and one in Kirkwood Hall, both of which will be free of charge to the GPSO. It is an unfortunate loss, and we sincerely hope to a have a new space soon. Resources used to support the Grad Pad will be redirected to increase GPSO Travel Awards and re-establish GPSO Research Awards for the 2009-2010 academic year.

M088 is located on the Mezzanine floor in a hallway adjacent to the pool room and the Outdoor Adventure office and is near the information desk and bowling alley at the west end of the Union.
Grad Pad General Policies
- The Grad Pad is unlocked from 6:30 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.
- The last person out of the Grad Pad should turn out the lights.
- After an event, trash must be removed from the room.
- No one may spend the night in the Grad Pad.
- Please check the list of scheduled events to make certain your gathering won't disrupt a previously scheduled meeting or program.

Q: We need more chairs for our event. Where can we get them?
A: The IMU Conference and Event Services office (855-1808) can help with additional items for events.Q: The door is locked and I need to get in! Who do I contact?
A: In the unlikely event of a lockout, you may contact the IMU Building Manager.Q: I need signage for an event in the Grad Pad. Where should I go?
A: The IMU Building Manager can provide T stands for signs advertising your event.Q: I want to serve refreshments at my meeting. May I?
A: Food and beverages are allowed in the Grad Pad, but we ask event organizers to oversee cleanup at the conclusion of the event. You may bring in food and drinks from any vendor you choose.
