The focus of the spring 2015 event is "Politics, Policy, and Inequality." Speakers will address a range of pertinent topics to European and North American societies in the wake of the Great Recession, including: Is the distribution of wealth and opportunity shaped by national political systems?  Do certain policies—enacted for reasons of political expediency or economic necessity—widen the gap between the “haves” and the “have-nots”?
