2008 Japan & Korea - Itinerary
The 2008 NCTA study tour was to Japan and Korea. The tour incorporated historical, cultural and educational components in several cities in Japan and Korea. The tour began with an orientation in Bloomington on May 17 and 18, 2008. This gave participants the opportunity to meet one another, develop personal and group goals for the trip. In addition, meetings and briefings were arranged on the trip to help participants develop their curriculum projects.

- Orientation begins at 5:00 p.m.
June 15 (Su) Depart from Chicago
- Depart Chicago on JAL flight 9 at 12:15 p.m. for Narita Airport
- Breakfast
June 16 (M) Arrive Seoul
- 3:25 p.m. : arrive in Narita
- 6:10 - 8:40 p.m.: Narita to Incheon via JAL flight 959
- Bus to Seoul

June 17 (T) DMZ/JSA Tour
- 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.: DMZ and JSA (Panmunjeom) visit

- Visit to Gwacheon Foreign Language High School

- 4:30 p.m.: Depart to Kyongju
