As the students on screen create a video project on Korea, they share their experiences and insights, providing knowledge and perspective on a range of topics, including Korea's history, language, family life, customs, education, and belief systems as well as its place in the world. Viewers are given a close-up look at contemporary Korean fashion and fads through images both familiar and surprising. Furthermore, as students' video counterparts scratch beneath the cultural surface, the distinct history and traditions of Korea emerge. Ideal for grades 6-9, Tune in Korea can be shown in segments to support a series of lessons or viewed in one class session as a comprehensive introduction to Korea.
