- Program Abstract: After her sister's sudden death, sixteen-year old Irene is troubled and moody. After a visit from her sister's ghost Irene decides to look for more in life, going on a road trip and learning about the Japanese- American internment camps her parents were forced to live in during World War II. Set in 1971 amidst the turbulence of the Vietnam War, Irene learns more about who she is and what she wants to do with her life. Winner of the Grand Prix at the Asian International Film Festival.
