The twos’ room has 10 children. It is staffed by two full-time teachers and two part-time hourly teachers’ aides.
The child directed learning environment promotes learning in literacy, math, science, physical, and social development. In addition, children are encouraged to use their developing self-help skills. The classroom offers children a variety of opportunities to explore and create both inside and outside. Our setting allows us the opportunity to take nature walks in the surrounding grassy and flowery areas as well.
Parents are encouraged to become active participants in the classroom when their schedule permits and share with the children some of their own skills, experiences, and hobbies.
