The Case Professor
In 2001 Fred Case left in his estate, in memory of his wife Lola, the funds for the Lola Austin Case Endowment in the Department of Classical Studies. The Endowment makes it possible for the Department to host a distinguished visiting professor every two to three years for a semester. The visitor teaches two courses, including a large lecture course for undergraduates, presents a public lecture, and participates actively in the life of the Department.
