WHERE IT'S SPOKEN:
  • Mainly in Senegal, the Gambia, Mauritania, and Mali
WHAT'S OFFERED AT IUB:
  • Wolof is offered from first to third year levels and extends to 4th year depending on enrollment.
  • It is also offered during summer.
  • Courses in Wolof can fulfill the foreign language requirement, the African Language Minor,
    and can count towards the African Studies Certificate.
  • Wolof students are eligible for the Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS).
