ATLILLA – Association for Teaching and Learning Indigenous Languages of Latin America

The Association for Teaching and Learning Indigenous Languages of Latin America (ATLILLA)
was founded in August 2008 as an international nonprofit organization that brings together instructors, practitioners, activists, indigenous leaders, scholars, and learners from around the globe devoted to the teaching and learning of indigenous languages and cultures of Latin America and the Caribbean from a wide range of disciplines and occupational endeavors.

ATLILLA’s mission is to foster intellectual dialogue, research, teaching, and learning of indigenous languages and cultures of the region. It is also a permanent entity for the promotion, maintenance, revitalization, and documentation of these languages and cultures.
