The purpose of ETC is to provide training that will allow you to improve your job effectiveness. And effectiveness on the job is linked to interpersonal skills as much as it is to technical skills. In this first session, participants will self-evaluate and challenge their ability to empathize, communicate, and build relationships with co-workers holding a diversity of personality styles.

And you will be given tools and a model that can assist you in a response to change that serves you and the organization. |

We have all heard, "The customer is always right," and "The customer is number one," but is that enough? Real customer service is an opportunity to connect with people, to brighten a day, to make a difference with the people who use your service or product. It's about giving them the PICKLE. This session will discuss the four key principles that will keep your customers happy.
We will also identify your primary customers and determine their expectations. Then, we can creatively explore the opportunities for improvement. |

Only one session may be missed without a make-up to remain eligible for the ETC Certificate of Completion. Two make-up sessions are permitted. Make-up classes are to be arranged through Kayla Shaw at or 812-855-9674.
Additional Elective Requirement
Each participant will take one Organizational Development course. A list of qualifying courses will be posted on the ETC Web-site each semester.
Each participant will choose two UITS IT Training & Education Workshops. Register through UITS at 855-7383 or online.
All of the above requirements must be completed in order to finish the program and receive the certificate. Please be aware of all of the requirements before registering for the program!
