Base Wage Increase for July 1, 2006

Effective July 1, 2006,

• Service Staff represented by AFSCME, Local 832, will receive one of the following base pay increases:

• Employees earning $30,000 or less annual equivalent base salary, based on full-time status, will receive a 2.0% increase plus $300.

• Employees earning more than $30,000 annual base salary, based on full-time status, will receive a 2.5% increase in their base salary.

• Support Staff represented by CWA, Local 4730, will receive individual notifications of their increase via email during the week of June 19, 2006. 

• All other appointed Staff employees should receive notification of any increase through their respective departments.

Pay issued on July 28, 2006, will reflect the new rates.

If application of the increase would cause an employee’s pay to exceed the maximum of the respective pay grade, or if an employee is currently paid in excess of the pay grade the employee will receive all or a portion of the increase in a lump sum.
