Total Compensation Statement Available in Employee Center
Many factors contribute to the compensation package employees receive at Indiana University. IU's compensation package includes various benefits in addition to base salary and wages. In the fall of 2010, full-time Academic and Staff employees were mailed Total Compensation Statements highlighting the estimated annualized value of the base salary and benefits associated with their employment at IU. This information is now available online through the Employee Center in OneStart.

The data for the online statement is refreshed from the HRMS system weekly.
To access the Employee Center, log into OneStart at onestart.iu.edu, navigate to the Services tab, and click on the Employee Center section on the left sidebar. The Employee Center is available nearly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

IU Benefits Video
IU Benefits Video was deployed in 2010 for multiple constituencies, has been updated with 2011 program details and is accessible from anywhere in the world via the Web at hr.iu.edu.
The video provides a higher level of service to candidates and employees, while reducing overhead expenses associated with printed materials. At their own pace and in their own setting, viewers learn about these benefit plans and programs:

This brochure has been in use for several years and was recently updated and redesigned. It is used primarily for employee recruitment.

Indiana University continues to participate in the governor's health and fitness program, INShape Indiana. Employees are encouraged to learn more about the program by visiting the new INShape Indiana Web site at www.inshapeindiana.org. Recently added components include a fitness and nutrition log, county-by-county listing of healthy resources, a healthy dining finder, fun games and activities for kids, a quick tips guide and much more.
