Status of CSI Project for Professional Staff Jobs
The objective of the CSI project is to install a fair and rational compensation system for Professional Staff jobs across Indiana University, with objective criteria for management decisions regarding employee pay. Project deliverables include establishing a job evaluation methodology and a salary structure that reflects the University’s institutional salary philosophy and updating salary administration policies.
This project is not intended to address individual employee salary equity. Managers should use CSI results to make decisions regarding employees’ salary.
Below is a summary of major project tasks completed and those scheduled for completion before the implementation date of August 1.
Developed compensation philosophy and structural components, including: broad grades, salary structure control point, range spread, etc., and assembled external market data |
