Highlights of Changes for 2006

IU Dental Plan

  • The child orthodontia provision will increase from $500 to $750. This is a lifetime limit.

Medical plans

  • There are no changes in covered services in 2006 medical plans.

  • Copays will be reconfigured to be in closer alignment across plans. This alignment will make it easier to compare employee costs for each plan and is the first step of a multiple year process to incrementally adjust the plans to offer the same copay structure across all IU-sponsored plans.
