Purchasing Negotiates Lower Price for all IU Survey Monkey Accounts

One of Purchasing's responsibilities is to detect when a lot of orders are being placed with a specific vendor or for a specific product. Once we have determined this type of trend we begin to negotiate contracts so that everyone in the University community can share in cost savings. Last year, Purchasing noticed that Indiana University campuses were spending thousands of dollars on Survey Monkey accounts. We were able to negotiate with Survey Monkey an agreement that offers all accounts registered with an IU affiliated domain name (indiana.edu, iupui.edu, etc.) 50 percent off of quarterly and annual rates.

Cannon IV HP Printer Contract Renewed

Conflict of Interest Forms Required When Working with Family

Vendors Must Submit Insurance Documentation before Working on Campus

External vendors performing work on any IU affiliated campus must have a Certificate of Insurance (COI) on file with the IU Office of Risk Management. Vendors who perform standard services such as maintenance or installation are required to have comprehensive general and automobile liability insurance with minimum limits of at least $1 million each occurrence, $2 million aggregate, as well as worker's comp and employer's liability. “The Trustees of Indiana University” must be named as an additional insured on the general and auto liability coverages.

Obtain Quotes for Relocation Expenses

With the moving season fast approaching, Purchasing would like to remind staff and faculty that new personnel who require relocation services should obtain quotes from IU's contracted movers prior to selecting a vendor. This is done via the Moving Request for Contracts form. By submitting the form, a request for a quote is sent to all of the contracted movers via email.
