New Look Emphasizes Substance and Style
A new version of the EPIC Shop Contracts page, sometimes referred to as the SciQuest SelectSite or B2B, was released on July 27. The transition to the new interface went smoothly with only a few minor issues that were reported and quickly resolved. The new interface makes it easier for faculty and staff to search for items.

While University Financial Policy I-140 permits University-owned property to be used off-campus, it is important to remember that University purchased property never becomes the property of the user regardless of the length of time it is in the user’s possession. An item is considered University-purchased property if IU paid for the transaction, regardless of funding source.

The School of Education on the Bloomington campus implemented a simple program that significantly reduces energy consumed, thereby saving thousands of dollars. Enterprise Location Consolidated, Pick-up Service Expanded
Starting August 1, the Enterprise Rent-a-Car location at Range Road will be consolidated. Going forward, Indiana University travelers may choose to rent from two convenient Bloomington locations.

IU Campus Competes for Victoria's Secret Event
IU fans only have one more day to vote for Indiana University’s Bloomington campus as the winner of the Victoria’s Secret PINK Nation student event. At the time of this posting, IU was in the lead with 29 percent of the vote. Running a close second was Kansas with 26 percent of the vote.

Sustainable Purchasing Intern Selected as First IU Student Member of National Procurement Organization
Madoka Yoshino, Sustainability Intern for the Office of Procurement Services, is the first IU student to become a student member of the National Association for Educational Procurement (NAEP). Yoshino is working on developing Indiana University's Sustainable Procurement guide and website to reflect a campus-wide effort towards sustainability by supporting the use of local, organic, and environmentally friendly products.
