Bob Molnar

Bob Molnar joined the PAGR staff in January 2010. In his current capacity, he works as the web production manager for Informational and Emerging Technologies (IET). Molnar is responsible for capacity planning and forecasting for IET’s web development team. In addition, he has helped to build the department’s web analytics portfolio.

Bob has worked for Indiana University for the past 12 years. Prior to working with PAGR, he worked as a developer for reporting and data analysis with the IU Office of Admissions while completing his master’s degree in human computer interaction/design.Before returning to graduate school, Molnar worked for a decade as a lecturer in computer science at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where he served as a course coordinator for introductory programming and web development courses.

A native of northwest Indiana, Molnar came to Bloomington in the late 1980s to pursue his first of three IU degrees, a bachelor’s degree in political science. In addition to his master’s degree in human computer interaction/design, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from IU. While pursuing his master’s degree, Molnar had a paper accepted to the Association for Computing Machinery’s Computer Human Interaction Conference (2008).

He is married to Anna Bednarski, who holds degrees from the IU School of Education and the IU Maurer School of Law, and who works currently as an academic advisor with the IU Department of Biology. They live in Ellettsville with their 11-year-old basset hound, Dolly.
