IUB ranked 11th nationally for overall numbers of students studying abroad (2,052). IU hosted 6,068 international students on all campuses. The Bloomington campus enrolled 4,314 and ranks 15th nationally. In the last five years, international student enrollments in Bloomington increased 29.5%; for all IU campuses, the increase was 35.2%. IU campuses offered 32 bachelor’s degree programs in international subjects, 29 master’s degrees, and 14 Ph.D.’s.	Click on a region below for summary data.

IU has taught 80 languages within the past decade and has more than 40 centers devoted to area studies and global issues. IU has established 211 exchange agreements with universities around the world, including 36 university-wide strategic international partnerships.
