Get Started

  1. New signs need approval from the University Architect's Office (UAO). To start the process, fill out a Facilities Request For Services.
  2. This is the time to address building code and ADA issues. Once the request is approved by UAO, purchase hardware.
  3. While these processes are moving forward, or if you already have existing signs, e-mail the following information to dsign@iu.edu:
    • Building name (Official Building name on the University Architects Office (UAO) list. See the link below.)
    • Building address (Official Building address on UAOs list. See the link below.)
    • IU building codes. (Please give us both codes.)
    • Your unit's RC code (e.g. PAGR)
    • Player name and floor where it is located (If you have multiple players on a floor or in one location, please bundle them this way.)
    • Name of your digital signage ADS group (cannot use sub or nested ADS groups) and the username and full name of each staff member in the group.
    • Phone number and name of the person who will be managing your player.
    • Phone number, email address and name of the communications/marketing director.
    • IU account number (Annual fee per player for fiscal year 2011-2012 is $125.)
    • Name, phone, and e-mail address of your fiscal officer
