Welcome to the home page of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs (DEMA). My colleagues and I have responsibility for a diverse array of programs, services, and activities that transcend campus, academic, and administrative boundaries. Our mission is to serve as an effective advocate for underrepresented students, faculty, and staff and to provide programs and services that promote excellence through diversity, equity, and culture at Indiana University.

James Wimbush has been named chair-elect of the Council of Graduate Schools for 2013. Wimbush is dean of the University Graduate School at IU and professor of business administration in the IU Kelley School of Business.
