Budget
The recently created Office of Management and Budget, made up of the state’s
fiscal agencies and overseen by the state’s Chief Financial Officer,
has exciting opportunities for talented individuals. Multi-year rotational
assignments are available within OMB that will offer significant financial
and management experiences for gifted candidates. All faculty are invited
to attend.

The Center for Urban Policy and the Environment, along with SPEA-IUPUI,
is co-hosting a seminar on medico-legal death investigation tools and technology.
Lou Smit, the national coordinator for the network of medico-legal investigative
systems (NOMIS), will talk about a software packet that is available that
can help with unsolved homicides, unidentified dead, missing persons, and
mass fatality situations (e.g., natural disasters). Participants will include
coroners, law enforcement, emergency management, and public health key stakeholders
from across the state.
