Presentations 


Lisa Blomgren Bingham, IUB, presented a paper entitled "Collaborative Public Management, Collaborative Governance, and the Constraints of Public Law: A Proposal for New Legal Infrastructure" at a conference she helped Professor Rosemary O'Leary organize, entitled “Collaborative Public Management,” held at Greenberg House, Washington, D.C. and sponsored by the Maxwell School of Syracuse University on September 30.

G. George Candler, IUSB, presented "The MPA program in small markets: Further refinements" with Michael Gold, at the annual meeting of the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) on October 19 held in Minneapolis. He also presented "The future market for graduate education in public administration" and was panel organizer and chair.

Beth Gazley, IUB, also presented at the NASPAA annual meeting: "Understanding Service Learning from a Volunteer Management Capacity Perspective".

And Kirsten Grønbjerg, IUB, gave a presentation on “Service Learning: Project Portfolios and Relationships with Partner Organizations” at a Panel on “Strategies for Effective Service-Learning in the MPA Curriculum” (which she organized) at the annual NASPAA meeting. On October 24 she gave a presentation on “Muncie Nonprofits: Scope and Dimensions” at the Muncie Rotary Chapter.
