Lisa Blomgren Bingham, IUB, presented the "The ABA Section of Dispute Resolution Task Force on Mediation Quality Preliminary Report" on Friday, September 28 at the Colorado Bar Association's First Annual Colorado Statewide ADR Conference in Denver, CO. On the panel was SPEA alumna and ABA Section director of research Gina Viola Brown.

Chris Craft, IUB, participated as a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee in a workshop on “Sustainability of Gulf of Mexico Wetlands in Response to Sea Level Rise and Climate Change” at the University of New Orleans, October 11, 2007.The workshop was sponsored by the U.S. Geological Survey and participants included scientists from the USGS, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, University of New Orleans, University of Louisiana-Lafayette, East Carolina University, and IU. 

Michael Edwards and Flynn Picardal, both IUB, served as judges for student research presentations at the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Undergraduate Program (HCBU-UP) National Research Conference held in Washington, DC, October 4-7, 2007.

Jim Perry, IUB, was one of three featured presenters for American University’s Leadership Forum at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, on October 4. His presentation was “Radically Rethinking How We Motivate Public Servants.”
