Michael McGuire, IUB, and Chris Silvia, IUB doctoral student in Public Affairs, presented "The Intergovernmental Context of County Emergency Management Agencies" at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association in Chicago, IL, August 30-September 2.
David Parkhurst, IUB, presented a talk titled "How Statistical Tests Can Mislead: Examples from Medical Studies" in Bloomington Hospital's Continuing Education seminar series on September 12.
Kenneth Richards, IUB, presented to the Indiana Renewable and Alternative Power Technologies Consortium (RAPT) on “Energy and Environment Research at Indiana University” in Indianapolis on August 28, 2007.
Michael Rushton, IUB, was an invited speaker on the topic of "Public Finance and the Performing Arts in the United States" at a conference on "Economia de las Artes del Espectaculo" held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 5-7.
