Kirsten Grønbjerg, IUB conducted a professional development workshop at the Academy of Management meetings on August 12 in Atlanta on "Profiling the Nonprofit Sector at the State or Community Level", together with Laurie Paarlberg (SPEA Ph.D.) and Rich Clerkin (SPEA Ph.D. candidate).

John Krauss, IUPUI, presented a workshop “Using Mediation Skills Both On and Off the Bench” at the 2006 Annual Judicial Conference of Indiana in South Bend on September 13. The conference was required attendance for all Indiana trial and appellant judges.

Rafael Reuveny, IUB, gave an invited talk entitled "Comparing World Models and Future Research," at a Research Seminar on Globalization as Evolutionary Process: Modeling, Simulating, and Forecasting Global Change, International Institute of Applied Systems Sciences (IIASA) in Laxenburg, Austria, on April 6-8.

Charles Wise, IUB, presented "Prospects for Passage of Reform Legislation in the New Ukrainian Parliament" at the Conference for the U.S. State Department and Central Intelligence Agency - Prospects for Reform Under the New Ukrainian Cabinet and Rada in Arlington, Virginia on September 8.
