Flynn Picardal, IUB, published “Interactions between Microbial Iron Reduction and Metal Geochemistry: Effect of Redox Cycling on Transition Metal Speciation in Iron Bearing Sediments” in Environmental Science and Technology 40(6):1884-1891. Co-authors were former SPEA postdoc Craig Cooper and former SPEA PhD student, Aaron Coby. Todd Royer, IUB, with M.B. David and L.E. Gentry, published “Timing of riverine export of nitrate and phosphorus from agricultural watersheds in Illinois: implications for reducing nutrient loading to the Mississippi River” in Environmental Science & Technology 40:4126-4131. Royer also published “Relationships among nutrients, chlorophyll-a, and dissolved oxygen in agricultural streams in Illinois” in Journal of Environmental Quality 35:1110–1117 (2006) with A.M. "Euthanasia and the Administration of Neuromuscular Blockers Without Ventilation: Should Physicians Fear Prosecution?" by Stephen Ziegler, IPFW, was recently accepted for publication by OMEGA, The Journal of Death and Dying. Two other manuscripts are currently under review at Swiss Medical Weekly and the British Medical Journal.
