Kirsten A. Grønbjerg, IUB, was quoted in the Indianapolis Business Journal on “Charities are feeling pain of gas price spike: Groups scrambling for volunteers, dollars to beef up transportation,” on March 29, 2008, by Jennifer Whitson.

Les Lenkowsky, IUB and IUPUI, recently published “Can Philanthropy Help the Middle East?” in the April 3, 2008 “Opinion” column of the Chronicle of Philanthropy.

Jim Perry, IUB, Jeff Brudney, David Coursey, and Laura Littlepage, IUPUI, co-authored "What Drives Morally Committed Citizens? A Study of the Antecedents of Public Service Motivation," which appeared in the May/June issue of Public Administration Review. Jim also co-edited a symposium on public service motivation that appeared in the March 2008 issue of International Public Management Journal and co-authored the lead article for the symposium, “Building Theory and Empirical Evidence About Public Service Motivation,” with Annie Hondeghem from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.

Sunday Adebusoye, M.O. Ilori, Flynn Picardal, IUB, and O.O. Amund recently published “Evidence of aerobic utilization of di-ortho-substituted trichlorobiphenyls as growth substrates by Pseudomonas sp. SA-6 and Ralstonia sp. SA-4”. Environmental Microbiology 10(5) 1165-1174. (2008).
