Lisa Bingham, IUB, received the SENRA Book Award for her co-edited book, The Promise and Performance of Environmental Conflict Resolution. SENRA (ASPA’s Section on Environmental and Natural Resources Administration) gives the annual award for the best book on environmental and natural resources administration. The award was presented April 3 at the ASPA meeting in Milwaukee.

Les Lenkowsky, IUB and IUPUI, on March 31 took part in the first board meeting of The Sagamore Institute for Policy Research in Indianapolis, of which he is a founding director. He also participated in a panel discussion on civic engagement at the Midwestern Political Science Association meeting held in Chicago on April 8.

Rafael Reuveny, IUB, was interviewed by the Voice of America Radio Station on the Sharon-Mahmud Abas (Abu Mazen) meeting and the meaning and significance of the understanding on the informal Israeli-Palestinian cease-fire. The interview aired on 2/08/05 several times, in the following programs: Voice of America New Now (global English news stream), Africa Today (an English morning program for Africa), and Asia News Now (an English news program for Asia), and on 2/16/05 it aired on the program Middle East Update.
