Burney Fischer, IUB, was invited to lead a discussion on urban forestry with the Bloomington Green Acres Neighborhood Association on the evening of March 27.

Sheila Kennedy, IUPUI, participated in a roundtable at the recent meeting of the American Society for Public Administration, held in Washington, D.C. The topic was "Is Public Administration Dead? And if so, Can or Should it be Resurrected?"

Joe Pellicciotti, IUN, presented "Congress' Ability to Expose the States to Private Party Actions for Violations of Federal Law: A Consideration of a Decade of Legal Development by the U.S. Supreme Court, 1996-2006," at the annual meeting of the Midwest Academy of Legal Studies in Business, in March 2007, held in Chicago.

Jim Perry, IUB, presented a paper at the 68th Annual American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) National Conference that was held in Washington, D.C from March 23-27. Jim’s paper, “Democracy and the New Public Service: A Model and Some Questions,” was part of a panel, The Nonprofit Sector under Marketization: Implications for Civil Society Development.
