Chris Craft, IUB, presented a seminar entitled “Tidal Wetlands and Climate Change” to the Program in Biogeochemistry and Environmental Biocomplexity at Cornell University on March 7.

Sheila Kennedy, IUPUI, delivered a lecture as part of the Lenten Scholars Series at Trinity Episcopal Church, on “Trust, Diversity and the American Idea.”

Jim Perry, IUB, participated in two sessions at the American Society for Public Administration National Conference in Dallas, Texas, on March 10. He was co-presenter for a paper based on research he and Korean collaborators developed for the Korean Civil Service Commission. The session was titled: International Comparison of Human Resource Performance Management Systems. He was also a discussant for a panel titled “Toward Good Governance and Accountable Public Service: South Korean Experiences.” On March 14, Perry was the keynote speaker for the awards banquet at University of North Carolina—Charlotte. He spoke prior to the induction of new members into Pi Sigma Alpha (political science) and Pi Alpha Alpha (public affairs) on “Passing the Torch.” He also presented a research seminar on “Democracy and the New Governance.”
