Nonprofit Employment Series Report #2—Bloomington Economic Region Nonprofit Employment: 2005 Report, by Kirsten A. Grønbjerg, IUB and Erich T. Eschmann (SPEA alum) with Kerry Brock (MPA student) was the basis for “Nonprofit Corporations Have a Major Economic Impact in Bloomington/Monroe County” by T. Wayne Waters, a front-page story in the February issue of Business Network (Vol. 18, No. 2), the monthly newsletter published by the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce and distributed as an insert in the Herald Times. The same issue also included an article (p. 11) on the overall Indiana Nonprofit Sector project, entitled “Intensive Study Profiles the Nonprofit Business Sector in Several Indiana Communities” by Ted Rueter.

Kerry Krutilla and Rafael Reuveny, IUB, published “The systems dynamics of endogenous population growth in a renewable resource-based growth model” in Ecological Economics 56(2): 256-267, 2006.
