Burney Fischer, IUB, gave a presentation and lead a discussion on "Ecosystem Services and other Important Issues for Private Forest Landowners" at the Board of Directors Meeting of the Indiana Forest and Woodland Owners Association on February 10 at Columbus, IN.

Todd Royer, IUB, attended a meeting of the American Society of Limnology & Oceanography from February 4-9 in Santa Fe, NM, where he presented a paper entitled "Microbial community structure in headwater streams and its influence on denitrification".
