Lisa Blomgren Bingham, IUB, made the following presentations:

  • An invited talk, “Conflict in Governance: A Legal Framework,” at the University of California Davis, School of Law, on January 16, 2008
  • Keynote speaker at the Ontario Public Service Grievance Board Conference on public sector labor relations in Toronto, Canada on January 23, 2008, presenting “Conflict Management at Work: Mediation at the United States Postal Service”
  • January 24, 2008, as an invited speaker in a symposium on The Next Generation in Dispute System Design at the Ohio State Moritz College of Law, Columbus, Ohio
  • February 1, 2008, keynote speaker at the conference ,“Toward Collaborative Governance,” held at the University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco and presented “Conflict and Collaboration in Governance: A Taxonomy of Process on the Policy Continuum”

Shelia Kennedy, IUPUI, spoke on “Talking to America’s Enemies” as part of the “Great Decisions Series,” on foreign policy issues, hosted by the Church of the Savior in Indianapolis on February 6.

John Krauss, IUPUI, was a presenter at the opening session of the Indiana State Bar Associations statewide “Forum on Arbitration.” The panel was entitled: “The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly – Experiences with Arbitration,” held in Indianapolis on February 8, 2008.

Michael Rushton, IUB, was an invited panelist at “Perspectives on Cultural Tax Districts”, a seminar co-sponsored by the Washington State Arts Commission and the Western States Arts Federation, held in Seattle, February 11 and 12.
