SPEA faculty in Kokomo will be organizing an Executive Leadership Workshop in Logansport Indiana on January 30, 2008. The leadership workshop will be beneficial to practitioners in senior and middle level manager, directors in the public and nonprofit sectors. Supervisory nursing staff in hospitals and newly elected public official will also benefit immensely from the workshop. The major theme of the leadership workshop is “Leadership for Achieving Results: Transforming Good to Great.”

Monika Herzig, IUB, will participate in Indiana University/City of Bloomington ArtsWeek 2008 on Sunday, February 24, 3:00 p.m., at the Waldron Arts Center Auditorium. She will play the piano and will be joined by Norbert Krapf (poetry), Tom Roznowski and band (singer/songwriter), and Scott Russell Sanders (readings). The program will include poems recited to music, storytelling in song, and visual arts by some of the finest artists and performers in our region with a focus on a message for peace.
