The Memorial Service honoring Daniel E. Willard will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, 2120 North Fee Lane at the Bypass, Bloomington 47408, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2005 with a reception following at the church. Reverend Bill Breeden, Reverend Mary Ann Macklin, and Reverend Barbara Carlson will lead this service of the celebration of Dan’s life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Daniel E. Willard Graduate Fellowship at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (1315 E. Tenth Street, Bloomington IN 47405–1701) or the Sycamore Land Trust (P.O. Box 7801, Bloomington IN 47407).

The SPEA Alumni Association Scholarship has been increased to $1000. This spring, the SPEA Alumni Board will award three $1000 scholarships to current SPEA students (two undergraduates and one graduate) from any Indiana University campus. SPEA faculty and staff are needed to publicize this opportunity to the SPEA undergraduate and graduate students on your campus.
