Presentations 

Lisa Blomgren Bingham, IUB, participated as a discussant in a symposium entitled The Impacts of Alternative Dispute Resolution on Workplace Outcomes at the Industrial Relations Research Association Conference, Philadelphia, PA on January 8, 2005.

Dave Parkhurst, IUB, served on a peer-review panel for a US EPA study (the National Epidemiologic and Environmental Assessment Recreational Water Study) designed to set criteria for bacteria in waters at swimming beaches to protect against swimming-related illnesses. The panel met in Chapel Hill, NC, on January 6 and 7.

Rafael Reuveny, IUB, presented "Globalization and Civil War," co-authored with Katherine Barbieri (University of South Carolina) and "Is All Trade the Same? The Effect of Disaggregated Bilateral Trade on Militarized Disputes," co-authored with Quan Li (Penn State University) at the Peace Science Society (International) Thirty-Eighth American Meeting, November 12–14, 2004, Houston, Texas.
