In December 2006, a $749,150 NSF Human and Social Dimension grant, “Dynamics of Reforestation in Coupled Social-Ecological Systems: Modeling Land-Use Decision Making and Policy Impacts,” was awarded to Tom Evans, PI and Co-Pi’s Burnell C. Fisher and Emilio Moran, both IUB, and Catherine Tucker and Kelly Caylor.
