What is the best time to interview on-campus?
The Office of Career Services is flexible and will work with each employer to schedule the time they want to recruit on campus. We do not schedule events for Indiana University recognized holidays (Labor Day, Thanksgiving Recess, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Spring Recess) or during finals/exam week. Please contact our office to schedule a date that works best for you.

What career fairs would I be interested in attending?
Government and Social Services Career Fair
This career fair, held in early November, sponsored by SPEA and Arts & Sciences Career Services, promotes interaction between students and employers in the non-profit/public sector by providing an opportunity to network and discuss general career information. Non-profit agencies, government offices, and social service organizations attend to meet potential candidates for job openings and internships within their organizations.
Indiana Employer Fair
This career fair held in early March presents an opportunity for employers with full-time positions or internships in Indiana to market those positions to students who want to live and work in Indiana.

What are my responsibilities if I want host a SPEA Intern(s)?
Once you hire a SPEA Intern you will be responsible for establishing meaningful work assignments, monitoring the progress of the intern, providing training for the work, sharing feedback about work performance, and completing paperwork that the intern will provide.
What do SPEA students have to offer?
SPEA students are well-prepared by a nationally recognized faculty, competent in valued workplace skills, committed to service, and adaptable in application of skills.
How can I help SPEA Career Services?
You can participate in Career Panels, Company Presentations, sponsor Internships, Career/Job Fairs, Mock Interviews, Resume Critiques, Classroom Presentations, or meet with Student Organizations.
