Drop-in Career Counseling


The SPEA Office of Career Services is now offering Drop-In Counseling in addition to our scheduled appointments!

Tuesdays
9:30 a.m. ­ 11:30 a.m.

Wednesdays
1:30 p.m. ­ 4:00 p.m.

Many students come through our office to ask “Quick Questions”, Drop-In Counseling is a great opportunity to meet one-on-one with a career counselor without a prior appointment.

This service can be used as many times as needed. Career counselors can cover a variety of topics during Drop-In Counseling, such as:

  • Initial Résumé or Cover Letter Critiques
  • Interviewing Preparation
  • On-line Resources
  • Library Resources
  • SPEACareers.com Tutorial
  • Networking Assistance


Drop-In Counseling is limited to 15 minutes per student and is on a first-come, first serve basis. If it is determined you need further assistance, the career counselor will recommend a scheduled appointment.

  • Please complete a profile completed through SPEACareers.com prior to attending Drop-In Counseling or scheduled appointments.
  • Make sure you allow time to wait in case other people have signed up ahead of you.
  • If you are not available during Drop-In Counseling please call 812-855-9639 to schedule an appointment.
  • Drop-In Counseling hours may change because of special events. If you are making a special trip, please call ahead.
